Ich experimentiere, also bin ich.
Die einen sehen das Leben als Spiel – ich sehe mein Leben als Experiment.
Ein Experiment im Zeichen der Kunst, denn ich bin Künstlerin.
Indem ich mit Farben und Formen auf dem Zeichenpapier und an mir selbst experimentiere, forme ich den eigenen Körper nach den papierenen Verkörperungen und die Papierbilder nach meinem Körperbild – und werde ich eins mit einer Kunst, die ich selbst verkörpere und aktiv lebe, anstatt sie nur passiv am Kunstwerk zu erleben. Dann wird mein Leben zum Gesamtkunstwerk.
Art.life – an experiment in the name of art
I experiment, therefore I am.
Some see life as a game – I see my life as an experiment.
An experiment in the name of art, because I am an artist.
By experimenting with colors and shapes on the drawing paper and on myself, I shape my own body according to the paper embodiments and the paper images according to my body image – and I become one with an art that I myself embody and actively live, instead of merely experiencing it passively in the artwork. Then my life becomes a total work of art.
Und da so ein Menschenleben aus unendlich vielen Momentaufnahmen besteht, wird jeder einzelne Moment umso lebenswerter, je mehr ich die kleinen Dinge des Lebens sehe und wertschätze.
And since a …
… human life consists of countless snapshots, each individual moment becomes all the more worthwhile the more I see and appreciate the little things in life.
Als autodidaktische Künstlerin ist meine Schule das Leben und mein Vorbild die Natur – die ich nach dem eigenen Geschmack kunstvoll verforme, sodass etwas eigenartig Neuartiges daraus wird: ich bilde nach, was ich sehe und bilde es so nach, wie ich es sehe.
Indem ich kunstvoll in die Natur eingreife, lerne ich zu begreifen.
As a self-taught …
… artist, life is my school and nature my model – which I artfully reshape according to my own taste, creating something uniquely new: I recreate what I see and recreate it as I see it.
By artfully intervening in nature, I learn to understand.
Ich existiere, um zu experimentieren – und ich experimentiere an mir, um mich selbst zu finden.
Diese meine Selbstfindung erfolgt in mehr oder weniger erfolgreichen Selbstversuchen, in denen ich diesen Kleidungsstil und jene Ernährungsform an mir versuche und mich dabei immer wieder selbst neu erfinde.
Doch finde ich, was ich suche, nicht umgehend, sondern muss ich viele Umwege durch oft unwegsames Gelände gehen – während ich versuche, nicht auf Abwege zu geraten.

… place through more or less successful self-experiments, in which I try out this style of clothing and that diet, constantly reinventing myself in the process.
But I don’t find what I’m looking for immediately; instead, I have to take many detours through often difficult terrain – all while trying to stay on the “right” path.
Wird die Versuchung aber einmal zu groß, dann verlasse ich den mittleren Weg, um von einem Extrem ins andere zu gehen – mich umso mehr auf meine Instinkte verlassend.
Und die lassen mich nicht im Stich: stets finde ich Mittel und Wege, aus einer schier ausweglosen Situation herauszufinden – um dabei herauszufinden, welcher der vielen Wege mein Weg ist.

… temptation becomes too great, I abandon the middle path and go from one extreme to the other – relying all the more on my instincts.
